Beginners Decoupage

When you start your first decoupage piece a lot of time is spent on perfecting your technique so we normally begin with a small item such as a pot trivet or a placemat for example where you can concentrate on mastering the preparatory technique and the quality of your finished piece rather than being distracted by a larger piece where you can get bogged down simply by its size.
